If a customer is implementing Riva and would like to synchronize historic data to CRM, Riva needs the ability to poll for this historic items in Exchange.  By default, Riva does not synchronize any historic data to avoid conflicts with previous synchronization solutions.

WARNING! Use with caution.  Consult with technical support for guidance.

Advanced Custom Options

Riva includes advanced custom options that can be applied to the sync policy to set a different filter to synchronize existing mailbox items with a create/last modified date after the specified date value of the custom option key.

Apply Custom OptionsSet the following custom option keys against the sync policy:

Sync.Ex.SyncStartTimeOverride.Contact = YYYY/MM/DD (sets different sync start date for Contacts)
Sync.Ex.SyncStartTimeOverride.Lead = YYYY/MM/DD (sets different sync start date for Leads)
Sync.Ex.SyncStartTimeOverride.Appointment = YYYY/MM/DD (sets different sync start date for Appointments)
Sync.Ex.SyncStartTimeOverride.Phone_Call = YYYY/MM/DD (sets different sync start date for Phone Calls)
Sync.Ex.SyncStartTimeOverride.Service_Appointment = YYYY/MM/DD (sets different sync start date for Service Appointments)
Sync.Ex.SyncStartTimeOverride.Task = YYYY/MM/DD (sets different sync start date for Tasks)

This custom option should only be set for a first sync or a re-initialize resync.

Example:  Customer wants to set an Exchange Sync Start Date for Jan 1, 2011

The following option keys and values would be set under "Advanced Options" in the sync policy:

Sync.Ex.SyncStartTimeOverride.Appointment = 2011/01/01
Sync.Ex.SyncStartTimeOverride.Task = 2011/01/01
