Include Additional Appointment Fields in Body of Outlook Calendar Appointment

By default, the standard appointment information is synced from the CRM to the Exchange / Outlook calendar.

Most CRMs support additional information fields in the CRM appointment.

In Riva, it is possible to allow copying those fields to the body of the appointment in the Outlook calendar when a CRM appointment is synchronized to Exchange.

To allow syncing additional information fields from the CRM to Outlook appointments:

Important note regarding releases 2.4.44.42725 or higher: The following key might also have to be applied to fully enable this feature:

Sync.Crm.HyperDescription.AppendAttendeeDetails.AppendContacts.Appointment = true (The default is false.)

When the changes are effective, the following fields in the CRM appointment are copied to the body of the calendar appointment in the Outlook calendar:

  • Contact name.
  • Work phone number.
  • Home phone number.
  • Mobile phone number.
  • Account name.

Applies to

  • Riva On-Premise 2.4.22 or higher for Office 365 and Exchange.
