GoldMine: How To Filter Contacts by Account Manager (U_Key4) field

Riva On-Premise can synchronize contacts based on GoldMine's default Account Manager (U_Key4) field.

To use the U_Key4 field as a contact filter for one or more users:

  1. In the Riva Manager application, edit the sync policy that the users belong to.

  2. On the Address Book page, ensure that Ownership is enabled.

  3. For each user that is to have contact sync based on the Account Manager field, apply the following advanced option to the sync policy:

Sync.Crm.CustomFilter.Contact[user's email address] = main.U_Key4 = '[Account Manager]'. (The Account Manager must be in UPPERCASE as the screen shot shows.)

When Riva starts, the contacts will be updated for the specific user. If contacts fall outside of the filter, deletes from the mail system may occur.

The Account Manager (KEY4) field in GoldMine can contain only one value. If you would like to include multiple values that can sync for the Account Manager field, you need to include a value similar to main.U_Key4 in ('N. NORRIS', 'F. DARLING') (including the quotation marks).

Applies to

  • Riva 2.4.39 and higher.
