Warning: If a module (like Appointments or Tasks) is synced in multiple sync policies, it is crucial to prevent any user from syncing in two or more of those policies; otherwise, duplicate entries will be created in that module in the CRM and/or email system.
If a user is synced in multiple policies and each policy syncs a different module, there is no risk of causing duplicate entries in any of the modules, unless there is a completely different cause at work. Because each policy syncs a different module, it is safe to permit a user to be synced by multiple policies.
This article describes how to configure Riva to prevent every user from syncing in multiple policies or permit every user to sync in multiple policies. The default setting and configuration procedure vary depending on the installed version of Riva. Riva 2.4.51 or HigherBy default, every user is prevented from being synced by multiple policies.
