Server version: Which version do I have? Insight Server 2023.4 - v2023.4.9.3570 Client versions: Which version do I have? Outlook Web Add-in The Outlook Web Add-in does not have a version. It does not need to be updated with every release to take advantage of the Riva Insight Server enhancements. Outlook Windows Add-in 2023.4 - v2023.4.9.3582 Get Windows Add-in version 2023.4 In order to benefit from Riva Insight's latest enhancements and improvements, we recommend using the same version of Outlook Windows add-in as the Insight Server. We do not recommend upgrading the add-in to a version that is higher than the Riva Insight Server, as we cannot guarantee it would be compatible. • What's New!

  • May not function propertly on certain versions of Outlook Mobile on Android 
• How do I access it?
  • My Day can be accessed by clicking on the My Day button on the Riva Insight App Bar
  • If you meet the requirements do not see My Day, you may need to deploy a newer version of the Outlook Web Add-in manifest.
    
    

Support for the "New Outlook" on Windows

  • Riva Insight is now supported for the "New Outlook" on Windows

• Limitations
  • When using multiple mailboxes, add-ins only appear for the primary/default mailbox in Outlook.
• How is the Riva Insight different with the "New Outlook" on Windows?
  • As the "New Outlook" uses the same technology as the Outlook on the Web version of Outlook, the biggest change is with Tracking emails and appointments. Outlook interacts directly with the server version of the mail items, so tracking is a lot more efficient as Insight does not need to wait for the desktop client version of the mail item to become synchronized with the server version of the mail item.

Updated Insight Cloud Login Page

  • The Insight Cloud login page has been updated to show the Salesforce option first.
  • Salesforce login is recommended for all customers that are using Salesforce as their CRM.
  • All other CRM users will need to use the Rva Cloud login method.

  • You may now access multiple versions of Insight without being logged out (For example, you can switch between the live and preview version of Insight without having to log in again).
  • Added a configurable option that will allow accessing Track in CRM only if external recipients or attendees have been added to the email or meeting.
  • Added a new optional setting to prevent the ability to track an item on emails that do not have external attendees.
  • Added more verbose logging to cache entries to aid in troubleshooting.

  • Fixed an issue for Outlook Mac where emails could be cut off when doing a Track and Send on an email.
  • Fixed an issue for Outlook Desktop for Mac and Windows where emails could be cut off when doing a Track and Send on an email reply.
  • Fixed an issue for Outlook on the Web that was preventing organizer meetings from being tracked while in read mode.
