Article ID: 1874
Last updated: 01 Mar, 2019

The following NetSuite 19.1 changes may affect the Riva sync. The information has been obtained from https://system.na0.netsuite.com/app/help/helpcenter.nl?fid=section_N3494684.html&whence= and has been edited.

Roles

The Full Access role has been renamed "Full Access (deprecated)".

The Full Access role cannot be assigned to new users.

A new permission called Core Administration Permissions is available. This permission provides access to some of the functions that were available to users with the Full Access role. It may be possible to use Core Administration Permissions as an alternative to the Full Access role.

As of NetSuite 2019.1, administrators can assign or customize the new Developer role and assign it to SDF users.

To find the Developer role:

  1. Navigate to Setup > Users/Roles > User Management > Manage Roles (Administrator).
  2. On the list of roles, choose Developer.

Subsidiary restrictions

As of NetSuite 2019.1, enhancements have been made to the role record page where subsidiary restrictions are configured.

The Subsidiary Restrictions section of the Role page now includes the following options:

  • All: Grants the role access to all subsidiaries, including inactive subsidiaries.
  • Active: Grants the role access to the active subsidiaries only.
  • User Subsidiary: Restricts the role’s access to the user’s subsidiary only. When users log in with this role, they can access their own subsidiary only. A user’s subsidiary is set on the employee record. For more information, see the NetSuite.com help topic Assigning a Subsidiary to an Employee. By default, this option is selected when you create a new role.
  • Selected: Populates a list of active and inactive subsidiaries. You select the subsidiary or subsidiaries that you want to restrict the role’s access to. Requirement: Select at least one subsidiary from the list.

Account-Specific Domains in NetSuite 2019.1

URL format: The new account-specific domain is in the following format: <accountID>.app.netsuite.com

Accessing an account-specific domain:

  1. (Same as before.) Users access system.netsuite.com and log in to NetSuite.
  2. As soon as authentication completes, users are automatically redirected to their account-specific domain.
