Unless Token-Based Authentication is used, NetSuite 2018.2 or higher requires the use of an Application ID for external applications such as Riva to log in to NetSuite. The Application ID was optional for NetSuite 2015.1 (and newer), but Oracle / NetSuite have made this a requirement with the newer versions. The Application ID is found in the NetSuite integration record that is created in NetSuite for Riva. To generate a NetSuite Application ID for Riva to communicate with NetSuite:
