Expose Riva Services to Monitoring Software

Riva Framework Services

Four Riva services can be exposed to typical Windows service monitoring solutions:

Each Riva service display name starts with the word 'Omni'. The service name can be identified by examining the properties of the applicable service.

Riva On-Premise Services

Riva 2.4.42 or higher.

In Riva 2.4.41 or earlier, the following Riva On-Premise services may be installed.

  • Service Display Name: Omni Riva (CRM Agent for Exchange)
    • Service name: Riva_Service_CrmAgentEx
    • Used by Riva CRM Agent for Exchange.
  • Service Display Name: Omni Riva (CRM Agent)
    • Service name: Riva_Service_CrmAgent
    • Used by Riva CRM Agent for GroupWise.

Riva Managed Applications / Identity Integration Services

The following Riva Managed Application and Identity Integration services may be installed:

  • Service Display Name: Omni Riva (Event Monitor)(new)
    • Service name: Riva_Service_Monitor
    • Used by Riva Managed Application - Secure Distribution Lists.
  • Service Display Name: Omni Riva (IIAgent)
    • Service name: Riva_Service_IIAgent
    • Used by Riva Identity Integration - GroupWise for Active Directory.
