Microsoft Graph: Overview

Riva has been closely following the Graph API updates and is proud to announce that we have a beta Graph connector available now. 

In our first iteration, Unidirectional Calendar sync (Ex to CRM) and Email sync (Ex to CRM) are supported. 

Admins who are setting up for their organization -

  1. Create a Graph Azure application 
  2. Create a Graph Connection in Riva App
  3. Create a Graph Connection in Riva Cloud
  4. Configure the policy to use Graph Connection

With bi-directional calendar sync, the user can - 

  1. Sync all new appointments to and from CRM or use categories to sync specific appointments.
  2. Supports appointment creates, updates and deletes bi-directionally
  3. Supports subscription modes, ensuring that the attendee status gets synced correctly in CRM. 
  4. Supports all-day & recurring appointments.
  5. Supports private appointments.
  6. Supports appointment statuses (Accepted, Tentative, Declined)
  7. Supports multi-attendee, and no attendees

With bi-directional contact sync, the user can - 

  1. Sync all new contacts to and from CRM
  2. Supports contact creates, updates and deletes bi-directionally

With email sync, the user can - 

  1. Sync all new emails or use categories to sync specific emails from their Inbox and/or Sent Items Folder.
  2. Utilize drag & drop capability to move an email to the synced to CRM using 'Create New' folder.
  3. Utilize Riva Insight to Track emails to CRM. 

With Opportunity (Create New), the user can -

  1. Can create a new Opportunity from their mailbox using the -Create new opportunity drop folder

With Riva Meetings, the user can -

  1. Use the Riva Meetings functionality

With Insight, the user can -

  1. Use Riva insight (Side panel, track in CRM, track and send)
