Netsuite: Invalid Login. Customer Access Is Disabled

Article ID: 1741
Last updated: 13 Jul, 2020

Issue

A Riva Cloud or Riva On-Premise user tries setting the connection in Riva for NetSuite and sees the following error: "Invalid Login. Customer access is disabled."

Solution

Add a permission called Web Services to the user's role, not as a Global Permission.

In NetSuite, complete the following:

  1. Navigate to Setup Users/Roles > Manage Roles.

  2. Edit the role in question.

  3. Navigate to Permissions Setup.

  4. Add SOAP Web Services, and then set to Full.

  5. Select Save.
