Add Non-Default Folder Synchronization to Mobile Devices

Overview

Enabling mobile devices to synchronize email to additional folders allows your users to access the advanced email summary views and Riva ConnectBar feature for CRM opportunities, cases, quotes, etc.  For directions on enabling non-default folder synchronization and email viewing in non-default folders, see the device manufacturer's user manual.

This article covers the more common devices.

Windows Mobile

To select other folders for synchronization

1. On your mobile device, navigate to your Outlook email.

2. Select Menu > Tools > Manage Folders to display the Select multiple folders for synchronization screen.

3. Select the box next to each folder that you want to synchronize, and select OK to save your changes.

iPad

To view emails in folders on your iPad:

1. Navigate to Settings > Mail Contacts and Calendars > Select your Exchange account.

2. Scroll down the page until you see Mail Folders to Push, and select the folders in which you want to view emails.

iPhone
