Problem with Automatically Updating GroupWise User Information

Problem:  When the eDirectory user info is updated using EMU, the correcponding GW user info is not being updated. E.g.  when EMU updates the first, last and fullname, that info is not appearing in Console One when checking the properties of the GW user.  Doesn't EMU update both sets of properties.

Answer:  One of the times when info is not automatically updated is when a 3rd party application (e.g. EMU) is being used.  There is a way to configure GroupWise to automatically update the user information from eDirectory to GroupWise.  Refer to Configuring Domain Maintenance: Using eDirectory User Synchronization for additional information and instructions.  These procedures should work for both GW 6.5 and 7.x.
