Customize the Deletion of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Calendar Items from Exchange

When Riva is configured to delete closed CRM appointments from Exchange (see Remove Closed CRM calendar items from Exchange), Riva also automatically deletes cancelled appointments from Exchange. An advanced option is available to customize the deletion of appointments.

Implementation for Riva On-Premise

Create or edit an "Omni.Riva.CrmAgentEx.exe.config" file to set the Crm.Appointment.IsClosedRegexOverride advanced custom option to one of five values:

Crm.Appointment.IsClosedRegexOverride = Completed|Canceled (default; note the '|' character)
Crm.Appointment.IsClosedRegexOverride = Canceled (deletes cancelled appointments only)
Crm.Appointment.IsClosedRegexOverride = Completed (deletes completed appointments only)
Crm.Appointment.IsClosedRegexOverride = Open (deletes open appointments only; not recommended)
Crm.Appointment.IsClosedRegexOverride = Scheduled (deletes scheduled appointments only; not recommended)
