Configure Which Modules Are Searchable in Riva Insight

These CRM modules have configuration options within Riva Insight. Contact and Account module search cannot be disabled, and some CRMs may not support all of the modules listed:

  • Contact
  • Account
  • Opportunity
  • Lead
  • Appointment
  • Email
  • Task
  • System User

Custom modules can be added for Riva Insight.

Note: Only modules that are specifically available in the CRM can be used in Riva Insight.
 

To configure which modules are searchable in Riva Insight:

  1. In Riva Insight, at the bottom, click . Navigate to Settings > General > CRM Modules Config, as in the screen shot.

    Note: In older versions of Riva Insight, navigate to Insight Panel > General Settings > CRM Modules Config.

  2. Drag a module from the Disabled Modules list and drop it in the Enabled Modules list.

  3. ​​​​​Ensure that the Searchable check box is selected.

    Tip: If the cursor is hovered over the check box, a tooltip is displayed to explain the check box's function.

  4. To enable another module and make it searchable, repeat steps 2 and 3.

  5. Click Save.

    Result: The CRM modules that you dragged and dropped into the Enabled Modules list are now searchable in Riva Insight.

To change the display name of a module: 

  1. In Riva Insight, go to Settings > General > CRM Modules Config. Select Edit (pencil icon), next to the module you want to rename.
     
  2. Enter the singular and plural names, then select Save Changes.
