Sync Private Events from NetSuite 2013 or Higher: Riva Cloud Corporate and Riva On-Premise

Background Information

By default, in NetSuite 2013 or higher, the Riva connection user is denied access to a syncing user's private appointments even though the connection user is the NetSuite Administrator.

Enable Private Appointment Syncing from NetSuite 2013 or Higher

This section applies to NetSuite 2013 or higher.

For earlier versions of NetSuite, see Connection option to enable private appointment sync.

To enable syncing his or her private appointments from NetSuite 2013 or higher to the email system, any Riva Cloud Corporate or Riva On-Premise syncing user can log in to NetSuite and give permission to the Riva connection user to access his or her private events.

To enable private appointment syncing from NetSuite 2013 or higher:

  1. Log in to NetSuite.

  2. Go to Activities -> Setup -> Calendar Preference.

  3. In the Sharing drop-down, select Defined Below.

  4. Select Calendar Access.

  5. Add the Riva connection user, and set Access Level to Full.

  6. Select the option Can Access Private Events.

  7. Select Save.

Applies to

  • NetSuite 2013 or higher for
    • Riva Cloud Corporate.
    • Riva On-Premise connections that use impersonation.
