Connect a Free Gmail Account to Riva Cloud

Applies to Riva Cloud Company, in order to synchronize CRM data and free Gmail accounts.

Prerequisites

If you are using a paid subscription to G Suite, see Connect a G Suite account (paid subscription) to Riva Cloud.

To configure Riva for a free Gmail account, the following logins and passwords are required:

  • Riva Cloud account,
  • Gmail account, and
  • CRM account.

Create a Connection to a Free Gmail Account

Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Riva Cloud (https://www.rivacloud.com).

  2. If you have not yet configured your CRM, do so now. See Create your CRM connection.

  3. On the Get Started page, select Configure your email.

  4. Select the Google logo.

  5. Because you are configuring a free Gmail account, select Individual, and select Continue.

  6. When prompted to redirect to Google to add Riva as a Trusted Application, select Connect.

  7. Enter the Google credentials to allow Riva to authenticate into the Google account.

    When the login is successful, the below window appears:

  8. Select Allow to allow Riva to access the Google Gmail account in order to sync the CRM data.

  9. Enter the email address again, and select Continue.

  10. Do one of the following.

    • If you see Connection has been configured successfully, select OK to return to the Get Started page to configure your synchronization policy.

    • If you experience an issue, contact the Riva Success Team.
