Error: EMU 3.6.64 on Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit. When I install EMU I receive a "Module c:\program files (x86)\Omni\Shared\NWUsrGrp.ocx failed to register. HRESULT -2147024770. Contact your support personnel."
Then when I launch EMU I get the following error : An Error caused by EMU occured in frmSplash.Activate.ErrorDescription:Component'NWUsrGrp.ocx' or one of it's dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid Error Code 339 .
Answer: No. EMU is not compatible with Windows 7 (32 or 64-bit) because EMU is not compatible with the Novell client version 2 for Windows 7 / Windows Server 2008. You will need to continue to use Windows XP with the Novell 4.91x or 4.92 client. We have recently expanded the feature set of eControl to now support most of the bulk account import and management features of EMU. Applies to: EMU (all versions)
