Preparing for a CRM-Specific Connection

Each CRM type has different preparation steps. For specific instructions, select your CRM on this list.

Common System Requirements

  • Certified CRM Systems: Use one of the supported CRM systems.

  • Logon Credentials: For CRM synchronization, the user account used in the Riva Cloud Corporate CRM connection must have administrative rights to the target CRM accounts that will be synchronized with the corresponding target CRM accounts. There may be additional unique requirements for some of the CRM systems.

  • Protocols: Firewalls must allow HTTP/HTTPS and SOAP protocols between the Riva Cloud service and the target CRM server or CRM system configured in the Riva Cloud CRM connections.

  • CRM Web Presence: The CRM web service must be publicly available on the internet, so that the Riva Cloud service can connect to it. Because Riva Cloud will not connect to IP addresses, proper fully qualified DNS name resolution must work for target CRM web services.
