Applies to Riva On-Premise.

Audience: Riva administrators responsible for maintenance of multinode deployments. This article is not intended for standalone, single node deployments.

When working with multinode deployments of Riva, it is necessary at times to locate a specific target user and its sync node.

Use cases include reviewing sync activity, applying user re-initializations or advanced options, and troubleshooting user issues.

  1. In Windows Explorer, navigate to  ~\Sync\pod\app. From this location, launch the Riva Service Monitor

  2. On the Riva Service Monitor, select the Remote Services tab. In the left-hand pane, expand the Services folder, and select Global Sync Configuration Service.

  3. In the middle Details pane, expand the Policies folder and select the applicable Riva sync policy name.

Result: In the right-hand pane, the selected sync policy's target users are displayed, as well as the sync node hosting the users.
