What's New in This Release
Architectural Changes
Most of the improvements made in Riva On-Premise 3.0.61 are architectural changes that will be used in future releases to support new features.
Microsoft Dynamics CRM connection: New! Ability to test custom objects
- Background: In the Dynamics CRM Connection Edit window, specifically on its Connection Test page, you can perform several advanced tests for various Object Types.
- Now, for any advanced test, the Object Type field supports the name of a custom module. When performing the Query By test, you can enter the ContactId or the AccountId.
Fixed defects
Session ID vulnerability:
- Potential problem: Under certain rare circumstances, it could have been possible for the session ID used by one user to be used simultaneously, for a short time, by another user from the same company. Unwanted result: For a short time, the first user's search results in Riva Insight would have reflected the other user's permissions.
- Fix: We have made infrastructural changes to prevent that scenario from occurring.
Sugar Team information sometimes not synced properly:
- Defect: When syncing an email to a Sugar contact that had a Team defined, the email object in Sugar did not contain the same Team as the contact.
- Fix: Now, the sync uses the contact's Team to set the email object's Team.
Form Feed character caused a sync error:
- Defect: When the Form Feed character (hexadecimal 0x0C) was used in an email, the email could not be synced by SmartConvert and an error was issued.
- Cause: An invalid email or mailbox was queried for.
- Fix: The sync filters out invalid emails or mailboxes from being queried.
Could not paste a multi-line value into the Value cell of an advanced or custom option:
- Background: In sync policies and some connections, there is an Advanced Options tab. On that tab, you can paste a value into a cell in the Value column.
- Defect: If the text of an advanced or custom option value was spread over multiple lines and someone attempted to paste it in a Value cell, only the first line was pasted.
- Fix: Now, all the lines of a multi-line value are pasted in a Value cell.
