What Is an Interim Version?

An interim version of Riva is an intermediate version that is available

• to test new features as they are added by the developers, or
• to implement a fix to resolve an issue reported by a client.

Note: An interim version (also known as an interim build) is not as fully tested as a public release build and should be applied only when advised by the Riva Success Team, the Client Engagement Team, or the Riva developers.

How to Upgrade to an Interim Version

To update Riva On-Premise to a specific interim release:

1. Proceed only if the Riva Success Team, the Client Engagement Team, or a Riva developer has advised you to do so. (Contact us.)

2. Take note of

   • the name of the .ZIP file you need to download and
   • the URL to download it from.
      

3. Manually upgrade Riva.
