What's New in This Release
The following table shows what's new for the Insight panel or Track in CRM, depending on the Riva Insight platform and add-in that you use.
Riva Insight: Insight Panel and Track in CRM
- Ability to track against items from the Insight panel:
(This feature has been extended to the Insight panel and Track in CRM in the Outlook Web add-in. In Riva Insight 2019.3, it was already available for the Outlook Windows add-in.)
Requirement: Riva Insight Windows add-in for Outlook, client version 1.29 or higher.
If the feature is enabled, a Track icon appears in the Insight panel next to every email, appointment, or task. Depending on how the feature is configured, selecting the Track icon can do the following:
- It automatically tracks in CRM the item against the item's contact(s) and account(s).
- or -
- It populates the Track in CRM window with the item's contact(s) and account(s) and lets the user make changes before selecting Track.
To enable and configure the feature, contact the Riva Success Team.
- New version of the Outlook Windows add-in: 1.31.
Insight Panel Only
- Consolidated views:
Example of what needed consolidation: In Riva Insight 2019.3, an opportunity in the Open Opportunities section under an account did not look the same as an opportunity displayed by a search.
Now, no matter where a record is viewed, the record has the same fields and the same look.
- Three viewing abilities are now enabled by default for supported configurations and CRMs:
- Viewing Open Opportunities.
- Viewing Upcoming Events and Recent Events for a contact.
- Viewing contacts under accounts.
- Other features:
- Ability to customize and configure the display name of records.
- Sorting is based on the display names. For example, contacts under an account are listed by their display names.
- Support for leads as a standard module:
To enable leads on the Insight panel, contact the Riva Success Team.
When leads are enabled, you can manually search for them.
- You can now view the settings of the About page even when you are not authenticated.
Track in CRM Only
- Support for leads as a standard module:
To enable leads in Track in CRM, contact the Riva Success Team.
When leads are enabled, you can track them.
