Purpose of the Get Started Bundle

The Get Started Bundle (GSB) is a discounted billable professional services bundle that provides a Riva specialist to work through the steps to configure Riva for Marketo to meet customers' CRM and Marketo integration requirements. Our goal is to ensure that Riva for Marketo is syncing properly as soon as possible.

The GSB includes services for planning, configuration, implementation, custom mapping, custom filtering and custom object integration for up to a maximum of 20 hours. Unused hours are credited to the account for future services. Additional professional services are provided at the then standard rate schedule.

Initial Contact

A member of the Riva team will schedule a session with the customer to discuss the system and integration requirements and confirm special sync or business use cases. In preparation for the GSB, the customer will receive an email that contains links to our Knowledge Base to ensure the CRM and Marketo environments meet the prerequisites.

Overview of Riva Deployment

The assigned Riva team member will work with the customer to plan and implement the deployment over the agreed-to project timetable. The Riva for Marketo GSB includes 20 hours of professional services to move through the project life cycle. Steps include:

  • Confirming connectivity to Riva Cloud or, if being deployed on Riva On-Premise, confirming host Windows system requirements;
  • Preparing and configuring the CRM and Marketo service accounts that will be used for data synchronization;
  • Licensing Riva;
  • Configuring and enabling the initial single sync based on uni- or bi-directional data synchronization;
  • Monitoring and confirming continued sync of data between CRM and Marketo;
  • Mapping custom fields to CRM and/or Marketo if required;
  • Reviewing Riva sync monitor processes; and
  • Reviewing best practices.

Completion of the GSB

Upon completion of the GSB, the Riva team member will provide the customer with an email record of the completed GSB activities.
