Enable or Disable Riva Insight

Enable the Insight Panel

The Insight panel is enabled as soon as you install Riva Insight.

Enable Track in CRM

Before using Track in CRM, ensure that Riva has synced at least once; otherwise, the "Configuration setting missing...." error occurs. In that case, close and restart the email client or mail app, and wait for the sync. If the error persists, see Solutions for the "Configuration Setting Missing" error.

Enable Basic Mode

To enable Basic Mode (basic email tracking):

  1. Install Riva Insight 1.0.58 or higher.

  2. In a supported email client, on the File menu, select About Riva Insight.

  3. In version 1.30.5 or higher, select Basic Mode, and if Basic Mode does not take effect immediately, close the email client and restart it.

    In previous versions, select Enable "Basic Mode", and if Basic Mode does not take effect immediately, close the email client and restart it.

Disable the Insight Panel and/or Track in CRM

(Riva Insight Outlook Windows add-in 1.30.5 or higher.)

To disable the Insight panel and/or Track in CRM:

  1. Install the Riva Insight Outlook Windows Add-in.

  2. In a supported email client, on the File menu, select About Riva Insight.

  3. Select Hide Insight Panel and/or Hide Track in CRM.

    Result: The Insight panel and/or Track in CRM will no longer be visible in the email client.
