SAP C4C: ERROR - [ItemIgnore] Web Service Processing Error; More Details in the Web Service Error Log on Provider Side

Issue

(May occur in Riva Cloud or Riva On-Premise.) When the error occurs, it refers to the C4C web service error log for additional details.

Solution

The information can be looked up by using the transaction ID. In the example, the Transaction ID is 00163E0CB1A01ED5A592572CF8A40233.

To find the information in the web service error log:

  1. Go to Application and User management > Web Service Message Monitoring.

  2. On the drop down, select Erroneous. Select the magnifying glass for advanced search. In the Message ID field, enter the Transaction ID. Select the Web Services entry to get the actual error message for more information. Look up the error message in the text box named Error Text.

  3. Contact the Riva Success Team with the error message details.
