DOCUMENTATION NOTICE
This document is under development.

Following is a brief summary of Riva Insight's integration of TrustSphere LinksWithin and LinksWithin Graph.

Requirements

  • For Riva for Outlook 2003 or newer on Windows:  Riva Insight Outlook add-in Version 1.1.8 or higher.

  • Office 365 or Exchange 2013 and 2016 on Premises:  Riva Insight with LinksWithin and LinksWithin Graph are available as a native Mail App for these platforms.  Requires that the administrator upload the Riva Mail App manifest to the Exchange instance.

  • (Support for IBM Notes for Windows and Mac and Gmail support is under development.)

  • Riva Insight server: Version 1.3.0.29996 or higher.

  • TrustSphere

  • CRM Information Requirement:  Riva for LinksWithin uses the website assigned to accounts in CRM to track organizations/companies/customers.  This means that the LinksWithin and LinksWithin Graph tiles will only appear against accounts that have a website assigned to their record.

Functionality

Viewing a Relationship:

Scope: Only outbound emails form a relationship on the TrustSphere server, as defined below:

  • Outbound: The sender has an email address with the same web domain as the current Riva Insight user, and at least one recipient (To or CC) is in a different domain.

  • Internal: The sender and all recipients have email addresses in the same domain as the current Riva Insight user.

  • Inbound: The sender does not have an email address in the same domain as the current Riva Insight user, and at least one recipient (To or CC) has the same domain as the current user.

How to display a relationship in LinksWithin:

  1. The  user selects an email item in Outlook.

  2. When the user selects the LinksWithin tile, Riva Insight reads the recipients and sender information and determines whether it is an outbound item. If so, Riva Insight will display the relationship information in LinksWithin.

Riva Insight reads the email address of the current session user in Outlook. Using this information, Riva determines which email items are outbound, and relationships are retrieved from TrustSphere and displayed.

Tiles/Icons:

  • Organization/Accounts: The LinksWithin and LinksWithin-Graph tiles show if the organization has a website field in CRM.  The tile appears next to the Google Maps tile.
  • Contact: The Linkswithin and LinksWithin-Graph tiles show next to the time tile for the selected contact.

LinksWithin:

  • Organization: LinksWithin retrieves and displays the list of relationships from the TrustSphere server based on the domain of the website of the organization.
  • Contact: LinksWithin retrieves and displays the list view of relationships from the TrustSphere server based on the primary email address of the contact.

LinksWithin – Graph:

  • Organization: LinksWithin Graph retrieves and displays a graphical view of relationships from the TrustSphere server based on the domain of the website of the organization.
  • Contact: LinksWithin-Graph retrieves and displays a graphical view of relationships from the TrustSphere server based on the primary email address of the contact.
