Audience: Project Team Lead, Riva Administrators, and End Users.

Riva Insight is an exciting addition for Riva Cloud or Riva On-Premise clients and users. Riva Insight offers the following features:

Insights Panel

Starting in Riva Insight 2017.3, this is what the Insights panel looks like:

The Insights panel is a mail-client panel that displays

  • Real-time, context-aware data from the CRM (organization and contact information);
  • Icons (links to relevant third-party information); and
  • A Search field for other CRM contacts and organizations.

The Insights panel displays context-aware CRM data when you select

  • a contact,
  • an appointment, or
  • an email

The context-aware data is used by the icons, so that when you select an icon, it can display data related to the organization or contact.

The components of the Insights panel:

Note: The Insights panel does not sync information. It is Riva Cloud or Riva On-Premise that syncs the data from the CRM and passes it to the Insights panel for display.

Log in to the Insights panel.

If you are going to deploy the Insights panel on your computer yourself, see Get started with Riva Insight.

Track in CRM

Riva Insight Track in CRM associates a selected email or calendar item with

  • an additional record, such as CRM contact, account, or opportunity; or
  • a custom object (which requires a billable customization).

For more information, see Use Riva Insight Track in CRM, and watch our YouTube video Riva Insight Track in CRM.

If you are going to deploy Track in CRM on your computer yourself, see Get started with Riva Insight.

Basic Mode

Riva Insight Basic Mode tracks email by selecting a button embedded in every email message.

For more information, see Use Riva Insight in Basic mode.

If you are going to deploy Riva Insight on your computer yourself, see Get started with Riva Insight.
